A tiny country with an oversized watch scene
The range is the surprising part. Divers are especially well represented, but Singapore's catalog also includes dress watches, field watches, chronographs, integrated-sport pieces, pilots, digital designs and more experimental work. The scene is dense enough that two brands can share almost the same name and still be completely unrelated. That's a pretty good sign you've reached critical mass.
Singaporean design, global production
A Singapore-based watch brand can mean several different things in practice. Some brands assemble locally, some work with Swiss manufacturers, and many use production partners in China, Hong Kong or elsewhere in Asia. Others don't disclose every step.
