    Privacy Policy

This page is maintained by Microbrand Atlas to explain how we handle data. It is not a legal certification or independent verification.

    In plain English

Microbrand Atlas is a one-person project run by Nick Gaudio. I am doing the best I can to handle data responsibly, but I am not a lawyer, a security engineer, or a privacy consultant. If you see something wrong here, tell me and I will fix it. If you want something taken down, I will take it down. No drama, no thirty-day queue.

    What we collect

    • Email addresses — only when you subscribe to updates or submit a brand. We do not buy lists, scrape emails, or share them with third parties for marketing.
    • Brand submissions — founder names, company details, and product information you provide through intake forms.
    • Usage data — anonymized page views and click events so I can tell which brands people care about. No personal profiling, no cross-site tracking.
    • Concierge queries — questions you ask the Atlas Concierge are stored so the tool can learn and improve. They are not sold or used for advertising.

    What we do not do

    • We do not sell your data.
    • We do not use third-party advertising networks or tracking pixels.
    • We do not build shadow-sm profiles or combine your data with external datasets.
    • We do not email you unless you asked for it, and every email has an unsubscribe link.

    Cookies and analytics

We use minimal first-party analytics to understand traffic patterns. There are no Facebook pixels, no Google remarketing tags, and no persistent cross-site cookies. If we ever add more sophisticated analytics, this page will be updated and the change will be noted here.

    Where your data lives

The Atlas runs on managed cloud infrastructure. Database and authentication services are hosted by our platform provider. I do not run my own servers, and I do not personally download or store subscriber lists on my laptop. Platform security is handled by the provider; application-level security is handled by me, and I patch things when issues come up.

    Third-party services

We use a small number of external services to keep the site running: managed authentication, email delivery, and AI-powered concierge responses. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms. We do not send them data they do not need, and we do not authorize them to use your data for their own purposes.

    Retention and deletion

I keep data only as long as there is a reason to keep it. If you unsubscribe, your email is removed. If you ask for a brand submission to be deleted, it is deleted. If you ask for your concierge history to be wiped, I will wipe it. Backups may retain data for a short period, but restoration is manual and rare.

    Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, corrections to it, or deletion of it at any time. The fastest way is to email . I will handle it myself. There is no automated portal because this is a solo project and I would rather talk to you directly than make you click through a workflow designed for a thousand-employee company.

    Questions or concerns

If something here feels off, or if you think I have missed a scenario that matters to you, please reach out. I read every email and I am happy to edit this page, update practices, or take content down if it should not be here.
