Norwegian microbrands tend toward the rugged and outdoorsy, which tracks given that the country is basically a fjord-shaped advertisement for tool watches. Straum out of Oslo gets most of the attention (and rightfully so), but they're not alone — and there's a clean, almost industrial restraint to the Norwegian aesthetic that we find QUITE appealing.
