Brand vibe
A Norwegian studio just outside Oslo that would rather make a conversation piece than another safe diver. Torgeir Sanders started DeSanders in 2015 while working days animating feature films, and partner Morten Paulsen joined in 2022; the mantra is to take the road less traveled. In practice that means narrative-driven releases — the Voyage and Grand Voyage GMTs named after famous trains, a pirate-themed Black Pearl edition, the classic-car-inspired Coachbuilder chronograph, and the Concept V automatic chrono. Everything runs on sapphire, BGW9 and C3 lume, and Seiko or TMI movements at $495 to $990. Releases move in drops and the entire catalogue is currently sold out.
