    Brand vibe

Wolf Creek Watch Co. is Swiss-made horological minimalism rooted in the Superior Highlands — watches meant to feel as at home on a Boundary Waters canoe trip as in a conference room. Founder Michael Johansen brings a psychologist's deliberateness to the work: clean numerals, custom sword hands, no date, and prototypes worn for a year before production. Two models, refined without hurry, punching well above their obscurity in the sub-$1,500 Swiss-Made segment.
