Mecaline Specialities 2893-A2 Elabore (ETA 2893-A2 architecture)

Sourcing Notes: Cases are cast and machined at the in-house Sopwith Foundry in Houston from recovered and recast WWI/WWII aircraft steel (rad), refined to aerospace grade. Multi-piece stainless dials with bronze 24-hour chapter rings; Swiss automatic movements (Mecaline Specialities 2893-A2 Elabore, 28,800 vph, ~42h reserve); hand-cut Horween leather straps. Each edition ties its livery to a specific aircraft campaign. Historic steel scarcity keeps production to small numbered runs.

    Tariff-free

No import duties for American buyers

This brand assembles in the US — watches ship tariff-free to domestic addresses.

No import duty on domestically assembled watches. Brands like TSAO Baltimore, Nodus, Vaer, and Vortic ship tariff-free to US buyers.

Tariffs are assessed based on where the watch is assembled, not where individual components originate. A watch with a Japanese movement assembled in the US incurs no import duty.
