MTK is shorthand for Montauk, the surf-and-fishing town at the far tip of Long Island, and the brand carries that town's split personality: blue-collar and beach-casual on one wrist, dressed-up New York on the other. Founded by a New York brewery owner who started sketching designs... MTK is a one-model brand in the purest microbrand sense - the New York Chronograph, a sector-dial panda running Seiko's VK64 meca, looks built to feel like a vintage flyback without all the vintage upkeep.
