Brand vibe
A one-man, veteran-owned shop out of Groton, Connecticut, named for the founder's father. JWalker's New Deco puts 1930s-style geometry on a 40mm engraved steel case with a sweeping Seiko VH31 and sapphire, numbered to 150 pieces. Their $50 Digital Deco Moderne channels 1970s Braun-adjacent resin nostalgia. Accessible Art Deco with a bit Sisyphus quote on the caseback: watches for the everyman, not the safe. How fitting.

No import duties for American buyers
This brand assembles in the US — watches ship tariff-free to domestic addresses.
No import duty on domestically assembled watches. Brands like TSAO Baltimore, Nodus, Vaer, and Vortic ship tariff-free to US buyers.
Tariffs are assessed based on where the watch is assembled, not where individual components originate. A watch with a Japanese movement assembled in the US incurs no import duty.
