    Brand vibe

EMG Watches is a US-based microbrand founded in November 2016 by two WatchUSeek regulars who brought in a Hong Kong-based production veteran as an equal third partner. The founders had no formal watch-industry background; EMG grew organically out of forum culture, funded by small pre-sale batches and shaped by open polls on colorways, movements, pusher placement and endlink design. The debut DL63 Panda (Seagull ST1901, 42 mm hand-wind chronograph) sold out the day after prototype photos hit the forum, and set the template. As far as I can find, though the acronym itself remains officially undefined.
