Brand vibe
Aegaon is the watch-brand equivalent of a small Baltic nation punching above its weight: no centuries-old atelier to lean on, so it compensates with oversized cases, Swiss and Japanese quartz, and hometown pride that shows up as sponsorship logos at golf tournaments and literal hockey championships. Less horological mystique, more Tallinn shop run by a founder who once got misty-eyed over an Elvis music video... practical, quartz-driven, and beautifully, unapologetically loud on the wrist.
Sourcing & Build
InferredSourcing Notes: Per Aegaon's About page: all cases are cut from certified 316L stainless steel; straps are handmade from genuine leather by Spanish and German craftsmen; since 2025 the brand uses Ronda, Seiko and Seagull movements; sapphire crystals — including the oversized optic for the Peacemaker 65 — come from a sapphire manufacturer in Asia. Final assembly, testing and packing moved fully in-house to the Rotermanni 7 shop in Tallinn in June 2023. Dial and hands suppliers are never named.
