Sourcing Notes: Founded 1904 by Edmond Zuccolo and Joseph Rochet (the brand name reflects their initials plus France). Originally a watch chain manufacturer, ZRC pivoted to dive watches with the Grands Fonds, developed in 1959 in response to a French Navy tender. Official supplier to the Marine Nationale 1966-1994; partnerships continue with GIGN, BRI, and French mine-clearance divers. Patented Easy Clean System (ECS), Crown Protection System, and programmed-deformation casebacks tested to -5,000m for the titanium MN64.

EU is capped at 10% total including MFN duty under the Section 301 forced-labor tariffs effective July 24, 2026. With a ~6% HTS base rate, the incremental Section 301 duty is 4%.

Tariffs are assessed based on where the watch is assembled, not where individual components originate. A watch with a Japanese movement assembled in the US incurs no import duty.
