Rugged, value-first British watchmaking with a big-big titanium obsession. Vaymont is the new home of TC-9, the older UK microbrand known for bronze Kickstarter divers... Miyota-powered 300m tool watches assembled in a Midlands workshop down the road from the British Horological Institute. The tagline is "Time is Freedom," and the pitch leans... pretty patriotic... Titanium was first identified in Cornwall, and yes of course the brand would like you to remember that. 😎

Needs ConfirmationSourcing Notes: Vaymont, now the retail home of sister brand TC-9, builds on Japanese Seiko NH35A and NH72A automatics plus the Miyota 9015, with one hand-wound model whose caliber is not named. Cases are solid titanium or bronze and the brand states its tooling is proprietary rather than catalogue. The Predator uses a solid sapphire dial made in Germany, the Planet Earth uses cut-stone dials (tiger eye, lapis lazuli, green aventurine, 925 silver), and straps combine US Horween Chromexcel leather with a German-made titanium bracelet. Final assembly is stated to happen at the brand's England workshop; case and hands country of origin is not disclosed.
