Community verifiedSourcing Notes: Movement: Seiko VK-series mecaquartz (Chronoscope), Seiko NH35/NH38 automatic (Hydromatic), Ronda quartz (Simplissime). Case: 316L stainless steel, sourced from long-term suppliers vetted over months. Sapphire crystal on mechanical models, K1 mineral on Simplissime quartz range. Dial: Custom to Obelus specifications. Assembly: All watches and packaging designed, created, and assembled in Versailles, France. Two-year international warranty. Notes: Founder Christophe Berthommier has 20+ years in the watch industry; brand name references the ÷ mathematical symbol coined by Swiss astronomer Johann Heinrich Rahn in 1659.
