Brand vibe
Ninov is, I think, Bulgaria's first independent watch brand. It's a a one-man project started in 2024 by Javor Ninov, a collector who came out of computer science and cybersecurity. The pitch is narrow and unusually well-chosen: proper mechanically-engraved guilloché dials at a price where guilloché almost never appears. Another interesting part is Ninov Lab, where the brand paints one-off dials by hand. Each is a genuine 1-of-1, and most sell out. No major press yet, but the dials alone are a good enough reason to look.
