Sourcing Notes: Naoya Hida & Co. (est. 2018, Tokyo) produces ultra-low-volume dress watches — roughly 10–20 pieces per model per year, with annual production fully allocated via a spring application lottery. Cases are machined in Japan using modern CNC techniques and finished by hand. Dials are made in-house from sterling silver, German silver, Argentium silver, or porcelain, with deeply engraved indices and Roman numerals executed by engraver Keisuke Kano. Hands are three-dimensionally machined and finished in Japan. No lume is used — these are pure dress watches. Movements are heavily modified Swiss bases (Valjoux/Peseux/ETA 7750 platform and vintage Valjoux 23 for the TYPE7A chronograph), regulated and finished in-house in Tokyo; the TYPE6A perpetual calendar (Cal.3025PC) is a collaboration with Habring² (Austria) using a Dubois-Dépraz calendar module. Straps are supplied by Jean Rousseau (Switzerland) with a customer fitting from 32 sample lengths.
