Mondia was founded in Le Locle in 1935 by watchmaker Paul Vermot and spent the 1970s as a byword for affordable Swiss watches. Relaunched as Mondia Swiss under Italian group Diffusione Orologi, the catalogue is Swiss quartz and automatic Icon, Monarca and Elegance lines from roughly $300 to $1,500.
