Sourcing & Build
Community verifiedSourcing Notes: Independent watchmaker workshop. Cases milled, drilled and polished in-house. Dials hand-turned on a 110-year-old straight-line guilloche machine. Hands cut from 0.2mm steel plate, hand-filed and either mirror-polished or heat-blued in-house. Movements are modified ebauches (Peseux 7001 for P37, Unitas-based for Gelidus/GG3, Vaucher 5401 for V38) with in-house bridges, screws, and decoration; bevels and anglage finished by hand. No lume; dress-watch construction.

IEEPA reciprocal tariff (originally 39%, later 15%) struck down by SCOTUS on Feb 20, 2026. Currently flat 10% Section 122 tariff. HTS base rate varies 4-11% by movement type; 6% is typical for mechanical watches. Framework deal with US in limbo.
Tariffs are assessed based on where the watch is assembled, not where individual components originate. A watch with a Japanese movement assembled in the US incurs no import duty.
