Brand vibe
The French know diving watches and Jacques Bianch, a Marseille dive-watch house with an unusually literal claim to throne, has a pretty cool story. The original Bianchi workshop opened in 1982, serviced Rolex and Breitling, and provided divers to French Navy. It was reluanched in 2021 by Fabrice Pougez (of MATWatches, also in the Atlas) and Simo Tber via Kickstarter (which I guess is also "Kickstarter" in French) and they build one silhouette repeatedly rather than sprawling it out. I'm quite partial to the Aquastrike myself.

VAT handling typical for European brands
EU is capped at 10% total including MFN duty under the Section 301 forced-labor tariffs effective July 24, 2026. With a ~6% HTS base rate, the incremental Section 301 duty is 4%.
Tariffs are assessed based on where the watch is assembled, not where individual components originate. A watch with a Japanese movement assembled in the US incurs no import duty.
