Brand vibe
According to legend, Evant was born in December 2015 when a group of Singapore-based watch collectors got together and decided (probably over whiskey) that they wanted to answer the big Swiss houses on their own terms. The result is a small independent brand that ha become one of the most respected vintage-revival dive-watch labels coming out of Asia. Their design language pulls from two under-utilized moments in watch history: the near-mythical Breguet Ref. 1646 of the mid-60s (the nugget for the Tropic Diver family) and Gerald Genta's blocky, faceted 1970s case work.

Sourcing & Build
InferredSourcing Notes: Design and brand HQ in Singapore; assembly location not publicly disclosed. Movements are Swiss (ETA 2824-2 on early releases, Sellita SW200-1 on later 39mm Tropic Diver and Polestar series). Signature convex "bakelite-style" domed ceramic bezel with integrated Super-LumiNova is custom to Evant. Sapphire crystal (3mm domed vintage sapphire on Tropic Diver family; box/top-hat sapphire on Polestar), inner AR coating.
