Brand vibe
Edox was founded in Biel/Bienne in 1884 by master watchmaker Christian Ruefli-Flury and has been based at Les Genevez in the Jura since 2014. Its identity is largely built around water resistance: the 1961 Delfin introduced a patented double-gasket crown, the 1965 Hydro-Sub reached 500m, and the brand still markets itself as "Water Champion since 1961". The current catalogue splits between divers and motorsport chronographs.
