Sourcing Notes: E.C.Andersson Watch Co is an independent Swedish atelier in Gothenburg founded by Erik C Andersson in 2016. Per the brand's own "How the watch is made" and "Philosophy" pages, cases, dials, case-backs, screws, sapphire mounts, surface treatments, coloring and engraving are all crafted in-house from blocks of metal — beginning October 2023 (Mytilus), each watch is fully handmade in the Gothenburg workshop one at a time. Earlier models (North Sea / North Sea II) used Seiko automatics; the GL Kontra-Gauss GMT introduced Swiss movements (Monochrome Watches, 2020).
