Brand vibe
Castor Watches is a Chilean independent founded in Valparaíso by Gonzalo Grebe Del F., specializing in watches (and Corvo knives) built from wood and hand-worked copper... Chile being the world's largest copper producer. The catalogue is split between lines that draw on the graphic legacy of the Diaguita, Mapuche and Selknam peoples. Movements are reliable Japanese (Seiko/Miyota) workhorses. Their story is materials, identity, and a "from Chile, to the world" voice. Great if you love a good ol patina.
