Sourcing & Build
Community verifiedSourcing Notes: Boderry positions itself as an explicitly Chinese brand — refusing the common practice of routing assembly through a third country to obscure origin. The company is registered in Guangzhou and was founded in 2019 by Gary Hau. Assembly is described as taking place in the brand's own facility. Movements vary by line: Chinese Hangzhou automatics (often advertised as 28,800 bph with 72-hour power reserve) drive the skeleton and Windmill lines, Seiko NH series and Miyota 9015 are used on field and diver collections, and a "Swiss quartz" badge appears on some Elegant/GoldAce models indicating Ronda calibers. Cases include 316L stainless, Grade 5 titanium, and bronze. Tritium gas-tube illumination is used on the Landmaster Chronograph and GMT references; other models use Super-LumiNova.

⚠ Current Section 122 + 301 rate expires Jul 24, 2026 — rates may change.
Includes Section 122 (10%) plus Section 301 surcharge (~7.5%) on mechanical wristwatches (HTS 9102.11). Actual rate varies by HTS classification.
Tariffs are assessed based on where the watch is assembled, not where individual components originate. A watch with a Japanese movement assembled in the US incurs no import duty.
